Poor Wi-fi.
— Laundry service was not on time in the afternoon, they gave reason of no-power. This is not professional. I had to ask in the evening again and they brought it at midnight.
— Wellness center employees are not professionals. They do not tell the keys have numbers. They make guest wait at Swimming door and guest has to walk back upstairs to inform them to open the door each time. They giggle and make fun of guests. They do not treat guests well first time. There is no drinking water glasses in the Spa.
— The bathroom of the room on the 6th floor is garbage.
— Onions and Tomatoes should not be transported in elevator openly with guest. They should be covered in aluminium or not made visible. This is not professional.

Nice place in the heart of Bole Street — safe and secure with good facilities and friendly staff. However, the cleanliness needs improvement, the air-conditioning was not working well and furniture need to be modified.

On my first day at the hotel, I was very tired. After resting for two hours, I went outside, and upon returning, I took a shower as I had been sweating. I requested that the bed sheets and towels be changed, as the sheets were damp and I had placed the used towels on the bathroom floor. Initially, the staff confirmed they would handle it. However, 45 minutes later, I was informed that guests are only entitled to one towel and one bedsheet per day. I found this policy absurd and even offered to pay extra if necessary. They then agreed to proceed.
I had also reported that the window in my room would not close properly. After another thirty minutes, I was told the room was ready, but when I went back, the towels were still on the bathroom floor and the bed sheets had not been changed—only straightened, still carrying the scent of my own perfume. After complaining again, they reassured me it would be fixed. Ten minutes later, they claimed the matter was resolved, but when I returned, housekeeping was still in the room. Once finished, I reminded them again about the window, but they were unable to repair it. It was only when I insisted that I would call the police that they upgraded me to a suite.
On my third day, at 11:30 PM, I called to order cake, only to be told that they do not serve cake after 10:00 PM. Having stayed at many hotels worldwide, I had never encountered such a rule. Ten minutes later, I went to the reception and spoke with the night manager.

Ethiopian Airlines kindly arranged overnight accommodation for me after I missed my connection.
The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were neat and comfortable.
There are, however, a few areas where the experience could be improved. The shower would benefit from a deeper clean, and unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay despite reporting it. At the buffet, some of the food was served cold, the chicken was a bit overcooked, and there were no labels on the dishes, which made it difficult to know what was being served without asking for assistance.
I appreciate that this accommodation was complimentary, but even small improvements in cleanliness, food quality, and responsiveness would go a long way in making the stay more pleasant for future guests.

I didn't stay in a room but visited the Wellness Spa because I was interested in the pool. The pool is apparently 2ft to 6ft. It's not really that big if you're trying to do laps. And there is no Wi-Fi, unless you pay for it at the cafe or are a hotel guest. I'd rather pay the extra money at Starlight Hotel where I'm sure their Wi-Fi works (or they'd give you the guest code) and has full lap lanes instead of a splash pool.

I know this hotel years before. Let me tell you my two days experience on May 7 and 8, 2025: we organized a meeting with >300 attendees. They organized everything much beyond the contract. The overall staff engagement, cooperation, and fucus surprised me. Many like service providers will take lessons from them. Thank you all staffs, banquet, and pastry team for your unreserved support. I advise, all should try them.

Harmony Hotel: Consistently Excellent.
Having stayed here several years ago, I recently returned to Harmony Hotel and was blown away all over again. From the moment I arrived—starting with the airport shuttle pickup and the friendly porter—the hospitality was top-notch. The front desk staff made check-in smooth and welcoming, and that warm, professional service continued throughout my stay.
My room was on the 5th floor at the newly added tower, the room was quite spacious around 484 sq ft, with a city view, comfortable and spotless, with everything I needed. The housekeeping was consistently excellent. The breakfast buffet was Absolutely delicious and fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. Whether you're a local or international guest; the spread has something for everyone.
I’ve stayed at many luxury-brand hotels, but Harmony Hotel still wins for me. It offers superior comfort, exceptional service, and excellent value in a perfect location. If you’re heading to Addis Ababa, look no further than Harmony Hotel. It's more than just a place to stay, it’s a home away from home.

Disappointing 35-Day Stay: Sewer Gas, Cockroaches, and Broken Promises.

I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid this hotel at all costs. My 35-day stay was a nightmare, and the hotel's management failed to address the issues despite numerous promises.
The room reeked of sewer gas, which emanated from the sink, toilet, and shower. The smell was overpowering and made my stay unbearable. I reported the issue to the front desk multiple times, and each time, they promised to move me to a different room. However, they never followed through on their promises.
To make matters worse, I spotted cockroaches in my room on several occasions. This was not only disturbing but also a clear indication of the hotel's poor maintenance and cleanliness standards.
The hotel's management seemed unconcerned with my complaints and showed a lack of empathy. Their failure to address the issues and provide a clean and comfortable room made my stay extremely frustrating.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The combination of sewer gas, cockroaches, and poor management makes it a place to avoid. If you value your health and comfort, look elsewhere.

Ethiopian Airlines pushed my flight back, therefore made my overnight layover very long and that’s how I was out up at this hotel. The amenities provided and the rooms were pretty awful. The food didn’t have much variety especially the buffet!

En route Brazzaville. Ethiopian airlines gave this hotel due to a long layover. This is probably a 2 or 3 star hotel and just about okay. On a Sunday night a wedding party was on and I can hear music. The lady at the reception gave me a room on the second floor and told me there was no other room available. I left the key on the table and just when I was about to leave the hotel to find another one, I was told that there were rooms available. Harmony without honesty. No halal food by the way in the hotel.

Harmony Hotel is situated in a great location, and the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I want to extend a special thanks to Mr. Aklilu, along with his colleagues Elsa and Abel, for their outstanding support during my stay.
While the hotel offers good value for money, the restaurant’s menu is limited, especially for Asian cuisine. Although Harmony claims to serve Indian food, I would rate their Indian dishes a 2 out of 10. To truly deliver authentic Indian cuisine, I believe they need a trained chef from India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh, who can also help train their current staff. Because of its central location, we also hear lot of noises of night clubs if you dont have right room allocated to you : (

Indian food is pretty bad and no Indian chef. People are awesome. Thanks to Aklilu, Abel, Elsa, etc. Took time to train staff for good Indian tea.

The hotel is very clean and the service is good. A very important note is that booking online costs between $40 and $50 per day, but if you want to book directly, the price will be more than $85 or more. This is not good. In other hotels, this law does not exist. Unfortunately, the food is not delicious, and when I order from Cinnamon, it comes to me most of the time cold and not hot.

I was supposed to pay $94.40 but they charged me $122.
The place is not very appealing. Old appliances and amenities, but the bed was soft and I slept comfortably for two nights.
There is a swimming pool but it is public and not exclusive for customers.
Beware! when you book online in a foreign currency and then pay in cash if not you’ll end up paying the huge exchange difference that they charge you without asking.

Good place that provides day gym passes. Good gym and really good saunas: dry and wet sauna and good service. Day pass is slightly expensive at 1200 birr and worth I think.

I stayed at this 4-star hotel from April 23 to May 2, with a rate of $90 per day.
I was thoroughly impressed by the staff, including the security personnel, receptionists, and hosts. They were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and healthier compared to other restaurants in the area, with low sodium, calories, and sugar. Everything was clean and well-presented.
The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options. The professional chef, always welcoming with a morning smile, prepared my omelet to perfection.
Additionally, they offer a free spa, and massages are available for a fair price.
I am very grateful for the experience, and this hotel will be my top choice whenever I visit Addis.
